editorial wedding
in sicily:

Mitch and Monica, a warm-hearted Canadian couple, chose Borgo del Carato in the province of Syracuse to celebrate their love. Surrounded by ancient olive and carob trees, this beautiful corner of Sicily gave them and all their family and friends an unforgettable day.

The location, an elegantly restored historic village, provided the perfect backdrop for a wedding full of smiles, hugs, and pure joy.
To celebrate in style, the Canadian culture wanted to savor the true Made in Italy experience: pizza, Peroni beer, and a delicious millefoglie cake made the party even more special and authentic.

kind words

Domenico made our wedding photography fun and natural. He connected with is on our level and helped record our special wedding day with grace and class.

He understands that we are there to enjoy our day but it is nevertheless necessary to take moments to document our event with grace and continuity. He became part of the party, family and helped make it all fun. Perfection my friend.

Thank you again!

the ceremony

The ceremony kicked off around 5 PM with vows that truly touched everyone’s hearts. Mitch, dressed all in white and totally in the right mood, made his entrance alone with a confident yet emotional stride, while Monica was accompanied by Caleb and Liv, who gave her loving support during this special moment.

The ceremony took place in the beautiful garden of Borgo del Carato, an intimate and charming spot, perfect for hosting the Canadian family and about 45 guests. Everyone was genuine, lively, and super welcoming, filling the atmosphere with warmth and joy.

Throughout the ceremony, smiles, spontaneous laughter, and happy tears blended together, creating an authentic and deeply emotional vibe. The sharp light filtered through the trees, casting crisp shadows that made every shot even more magical and rich in depth. It felt like every ray of light was illuminating not just the scene, but the beauty of all the emotions in the air.

With all these elements in place, I had everything I needed to tell the story of a truly special and unforgettable wedding through my photos.

dinner and party

After the ceremony, everyone relaxed with appetizers and a DJ set, before moving to the courtyard of the venue to start the dinner. There were several heartfelt speeches full of love and funny stories, with everyone watching on, touched and smiling. After the cake cutting, the party kicked off with some truly iconic moments — they danced like never before!
